Very old 1800s Violin
there is an old label inside
cant make it out - hand written, "By ......

3 inlay purfling Dark/light/dark
Nice Long scroll w/ Dark Ends
4/4 size, 14" body
includes old case -case in  poor shape, latches bad.  case lid top it loose
no bow
good for restoration,
has been restored before at some point
has cracks on back
side has some splitting and something I have never seen on a violin, looks like the top has a spacer strip of wood between the sides and the top - see pictures
