I am offering this old very interesting violin from my private collection:
The label says:
„FRANCISCUS CHYSKÝ
Slaný, anno 1917“
The Chyský violin is practically impossible to find, the encyklopedia mentions only one copy from 1907 and probably not even the original. So it's a rarity.
The initials "J.Š." are engraved on the top plate.
For complete renovation. Cracks (long crack in top plate joint.)
No corner blocks.
Back in two pieces.
Soundpost is down.
