BRASS EASTLAKE ENTRY MORTISE LOCK w/KEY - FULLY RESTORED 7 1/4" FACE  (15313)
Vintage, circa 1870-1890: Salvaged entry lock with a beautiful brass Eastlake face plate . Reversible, works perfectly, fully restored.
FACEPLATE:
Mortise lock has a large, heavy and intricate Eastlake brass face plate with a length of 7 1/4" and a width of 1 1/8" and thickness of 3/16".
BACKSET:
Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 3".
DROP:
The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion at the top of the key slot is 2 5/8".
KNOB POST or SHAFT:
The lock accommodates a standard 5/16" knob post.
BOX:
The mortise box itself is 3 7/8" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back edge of the box and it is 4 7/8" high, 9/16" thick.
REVERSIBILITY:
The lock is reversible.
Excellent condition, with key, works perfectly and, save for a few screws, ready for your project!!
