KEAN & DOTY EASTLAKE MORTISE LOCK with KEY!  - CIRCA 1890 FULLY RESTORED (40902)
Vintage, Kean & Doty, Cleveland, Ohio mortise lock, circa 1890.
Completely restored, comes with a key, heavy brass face, overall very nice, clean and functions perfectly.
Requires a standard size 5/16" knob post shaft.
Mortise lock has a face plate length of 5 1/2" and a width of 15/16" and thickness of 1/8".
Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole) is 2 3/8".
Screws are on 4 7/8" centers.
The drop from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion at the top of the key slot is 2 1/8".
Very nice lock, should last another 130 years!
