    PAIR of BRASS JAPANNED BACKPLATES - CIRCA 1890 - VERY NICE  (14613)
    Vintage, circa 1890: Pair of heavy brass Japanned backplates.
    Wonderful condition, terrific patina, never painted,  overall a very clean set.
    Measurements: 6
    " top to bottom and 1 m3/4" wide at the widest point.  The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion at the top of the key hole) is 2 1/8"
    As the auction begins, we have two pairs available.  Hard to find set!
