VINTAGE LARGE Entrance Door Architectural Door Pull/Plate Bronze 1880Pat Sargent

Description

This massive 14 3/4" long x 2 11/16" wide push button to release the latch front door/entrance door bronze plate with steel replacement handle  Original handle missing.
Based on my research this plate is from 1880 - manufactured by SARGENT - part number 7903VR. See catalog cut. #7903 and VR cast in back side. Considered (art) store door handle hardware (circa  mid to late 1800's).
Six solid brass wood screws included for attachment.
